Recent Results

Rachel F. Tait practices in the areas of business litigation and construction law. Ms. Tait’s practice includes litigation matters from complaint filing through collected judgment, involving general/subcontractor disputes, contract defaults, surety bond claims, contract interpretation and lien law. Prior to joining the firm, she gained significant experience serving as a judicial clerk in the United States District Court, Eastern District of California. She represents construction companies in a wide array of matters involving both public and private projects.

Ms. Tait is admitted to practice before all California state courts and the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. She has been a member of the San Diego Lawyer’s Club since 2000, a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Ms. Tait received her juris doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law, from which she graduated cum laude and was made a member of the Order of the Coif. While in law school, Ms. Tait was a member and Executive Editor of the San Diego Law Review, received honors for Lawyering Skills and received CALI (AmJur) Awards in Contracts and UCC Sales courses. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of San Diego from which she graduated summa cum laude.
