Elisabeth A. McLaughlin practices in the areas of trusts and estates
and business/commercial transactions. Her practice includes trust
administration and business and estate planning. Ms. McLaughlin
counsels clients with regard to the formation and operation of
various business organizations, including limited partnerships,
limited liability companies and corporations. She also advises
clients with regard to a wide range of estate planning vehicles,
including family limited partnerships, irrevocable life insurance
trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, grantor trusts,
generation-skipping trusts, and wills and revocable living trusts.
Ms. McLaughlin is admitted to practice before all California state
courts and the United States District Court for the Southern
District of California. Ms. McLaughlin received her juris doctor
from the University of California, Berkeley (Boalt Hall). She
received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics with an Emphasis
in Accounting at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Ms.
McLaughlin is also a Certified Public Accountant.
